I was just browsing through some old pictures and found these of the kids! This was the night before Stumpjump 2012. The night before dinner was held in this park and while the special speakers spoke these hot air balloons were being filled. It was beautiful while the sun was setting.
I can't get over how fast my kids are growing up. I look back at pictures from just a year or two ago and they look so tiny.
Ella's 4th birthday.
A few more random pictures of the kids.
Hold up while I go back even further....
A happy boy and his frog
And lastly I will share,
Tiny Bikini!
Sunday morning I did an 8 mile recovery run on some new trails with my friends Jennifer and Jessica.
I logged 47 running miles this week. My training plan will be changing up in the next couple weeks as I switch over to trails but for now I am winging it and going by feel. This weeks mileage felt great. By Sunday morning after our run I was in need of a caffeine IV drip after but I opted for an iced caramel macchiato instead, my weekend treat.
Sunday we celebrated our 9th Anniversary.
We ended up doing a family date due to lack of planning for a sitter.
Fortunately our family date worked out with everyone having fun going rock climbing!
Jayson was rocking it! No fear in him!
For those of you who don't know I am scared of heights...like a lot. Trying to overcome my fears.
The first mistake I made that felt like it made it worse was climbing all the way to the top the first time and felt ok. Then I looked down and I got freaked out because I needed to get go to drop. I couldn't let go, I kept gripping on and by then my hands and legs were shaking. By the time I belayed down I felt like I would have a nervous breakdown. Ok so I decided to take a different approch the next few times around. I would get about half way up and then belay from there. I did that 5 times or so until I got comfortable with the feeling of falling from that far up. And then I started going to the top to try. It was better this time but still didn't love it. The more I tried the easier it got.
I started to have fun with it eventually. The only reason I had to stop was because my hands were killing me and were so red. This was when we got home and some of the redness had gone away.
Defiantly a great family activities we all enjoyed and would like to do again!
Monday morning coconut milk cinnamon latte. Nice and frothy if you whip it in the blender.
Today consisted of mostly chores around the house and PIYO Drench dvd. Made some yummy chicken fried rice for dinner and it was a hit, the kids LOVED it! To make it healthier I used brown rice instead of while, coconut oil to fry it, and Braggs Liquid Aminos instead of soy sauce.
