One of are favorite family traditions around here is Friday Night Family Movie Nights. We started this when Jayson was a baby and it's continued on. We have only missed a few nights and usually that's because we were away from home.
The month of December we always watch Christmas movies and I love it!
Klondike prefers to nap anytime we do well...ANYTHING I think...lol
The night before...
And while I do my planks...
And this morning while kids watched tv...
Last night while Ella read him stories(this made my heart happy though, a girl and her dog)...
Yesterday afternoon while I worked out on the elliptical...
My kids have a reason to be lazy all day today as the stomach bug has hit our house, yuck.
I'm trying to prevent from getting it! Hopefully its not too late!
I couldn't leave the house with 2 sick kiddos and a destructive dog so my friend Shyla came to the rescue! The kids adore her!
Yesterday I was able to get in some elliptical time at home. 1 hour. I am afraid to leave the house because of the mass destruction our dog does when I leave. Were on the hunt for a better cage that will hold him.
I also did a 2 min plank! I used to be able to do 3 mins but its been way too long. I also did a few exercises using a paper plate! Sounds crazy but it was tough!
And then I made the most amazing treat for movie night! Biscoff White Chocolate Blondies! They were heaven! Chewy -gooey on the inside, and biscoff and white chocolate are two of my favorite things! They are now on my top list of desserts.
Speaking of food I picked up some yummy holiday treats this week.
This was one of my favorite finds! I love the Ceaser and Original so when I found these I was like, MUST BUY! The Salted caramel was the best! And at only 130 Calories and 3g sugar per serving! While it may not be the "healthiest" snack it beats some other bad choices.
Kids mailed their letters to Santa last night. Jayson is 8 this year and still believes, but he is starting to question it so I'm pretty sure this is the last year for him.
I don't know if I even remember when I stopped believing.
What are some of your favorite traditions in your house? At what age did your children stop believing in Santa? What happened when you were younger to make YOU stop believing? Whats your record plank holding time?
